Thank you @farangldn you lifesavers for sending over some of your fab curry pastes💥No time at all today so I just sizzled the red curry paste, added stock, beans and sugar snaps, some cubed cod loin and prawns, splash of coconut milk and then hit it with the garnish arsenal (Thai baz, coriander, spruns, lime leaf, chillies). Plenty of flappy rice noodles 🤤 Ready in 15.

Yes I am a kebab addict. Kebabict? This one is 500

Yes I am a kebab addict. Kebabict? This one is 500g venison leg minced with 300g pork to add essential fat, plus 1tbsp cumin seeds, 1tsp coriander seeds, 5 cloves (all toasted + ground), handful finely chopped parsley stalks, 1tbsp Urfa chilli, 1tbsp sumac, salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper. Cooked on the BBQ, of course 🔥 Thats a zhoug (see my highlights) underneath with added watercress, a pomegranate salad on the side and a toasted hazelnut dukkah that definitely wasn’t supposed to be *quite* so finely blitzed on top 🙃 Autumnal ‘bab 🍂🍁

Danger danger... @meatgram have started delivering chilli dog kits and they are👌🏻. I really don’t want to think about how many of these I’ve inhaled over the years. Many. Many many. The sweet, spicy chilli, the nuclear French’s, the jalapeños... but most of all the snappy beef dog by @bigapplehotdogs 🍎(this was a #gift but trust me, my endorsement of this product started a long time ago 😬). Bonus: eating one of these in privacy of own home definitely preferable *wipes chin*

Fellah köftesi! Recipe by the brilliant @mels_place_east 💥 These Kurdish bulgur wheat dumplings are served on spinach yogurt and topped with plenty of my old pal, Aleppo chilli butter. Such an addictive bouncy texture I *may* have eaten quite a few. Thanks for the great recipe Mel 🙏 (btw I do recommend watching the accompanying vid on @qkatie YouTube channel if you’re going to make these - a few good tips in there).

How to liven up a grey Monday morning... pork belly slow roasted overnight in fennel and five spice; 2 egg omelette with a nubbin of fresh turmeric, coriander, sprunners, chilli; quick pickled baby turnips and radishes; more coriander; sriracha mayo; sesame baguette. FIT AF despite the oven trying to ruin my fun by turning itself off in the middle of the night.

Woke up yesterday with a mad craving for chicken kebabs so marinated some chicken thighs in yoghurt, bit of cumin/coriander/turmeric/sumac/paprika and cooked on the BBQ until charred. Underneath is a nigella flatbread (easy flatbread recipe in my highlights) and my first go at ajvar which I’d never heard of until it turned up at my front door last week in the hands of @spasiadinkovski 🔥This red pepper condiment is a staple in Macedonia apparently, and I wouldn’t dare share a recipe having only eaten the real thing once but encourage you to seek it out! Smoky, sweet and a proper pan blooper - my kitchen is covered in splatter marks 🧡
