It’s that time again! Tickets are on sale for my next supper club at DVine Cellars (28-29th June) and this time the theme is Latin America. I’ve used this as an excuse to make a mountain of tacos, of course, so I’ll be serving cochinita pibil – a wonderful dish of (very) slow cooked pork shoulder marinated in achiote, orange and garlic, among other things. It’ll be pulled apart and served with freshly made corn tacos, a salsa made with fermented gooseberries (they are close in flavour to tomatillos), a homemade hot sauce and pink pickled onions!
If that doesn’t get you excited then I don’t know what will. Oh, and there will be four other courses AND four matched wines served alongside from Matetic, an amazing Chilean winery.
We’ll finish with dulce de leche cheesecake and if it’s anything like the last supper clubs there will be lots of lingering, laughing and general raucousness late into the evening. Do come! You can see the full menu below.
